Once in VK Studio:
- Locate your blocked release.

- After this, the release will become available for pitching.

In VK Studio, click the «Fill Out the Form» link:
https://vk.com/studio
In the form, provide the following details:
- Release date.
- Label name (if applicable).
- Artist name and release title.
- Release type (single, album, EP).
- Focus track (for albums and EPs).
- Genre.
- Release description (brief, up to 1 000 characters).
- Marketing information (promotion plans).
- Listening link (any cloud storage that doesn’t require downloads).
- Link to the artist’s VK page and other social media.
- Links to relevant photos for the release.
Submitting the Application
It is recommended to submit your application at least 14 days before the release to allow editors sufficient time to review it.
Additional Recommendations
Via a Label
Applications from labels are more likely to be reviewed by editors, as labels perform initial release filtering. Some labels have direct contacts with editors and can expedite the process.
Content Quality
Ensure the track is in its final version and that metadata is accurate (title, genres, mood, etc.).
Press Release
Include the following in your press release:
- What the track is about, its uniqueness, and the story behind its creation.
- Information about yourself as an artist (achievements, creative journey).
- Promotion plans (music video, advertising, concerts).
Artist Profile Setup
Make sure your artist profile on VK Music includes:
- High‑quality photos.
- A detailed description.
- Links to social media platforms.
Editors often review this information when assessing applications.
Pre‑Saves
Launch a pre‑save campaign to demonstrate audience interest in the track. A high number of saves on release day can attract the attention of algorithms and editors.
Timing
It’s optimal to submit your application 28 days before the release, although platforms formally accept submissions as late as 7 days prior. The earlier your application enters the pool, the higher the chance it will be reviewed.
Focus Track
If releasing an album or EP, select one track for pitching. This should be your strongest material, best representing the release.
Status Tracking
After submitting your application, monitor its status in VK Studio. If your track is added to a playlist, you’ll be able to see this in your artist dashboard or via services like BandLink.
Support and Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues accessing VK Studio or completing the form, contact VK Support. They can help resolve problems and clarify any details.
Important: Inclusion in editorial playlists is not guaranteed, but a systematic approach to pitching increases your chances of success.
